Vegetables have a lighter energy than proteins. Animal meat from tortured animals has a different energy than meat from animals that lived a peaceful existence.” ~Joshua Rosenthal, founder/director of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition

January 5th, 2012

Well they are over, and hopefully you are back to your regular routine. So what is the plan for 2012? I know I want to eat better, try to eat more in season. I learned a lot this year from just talking to some of the farmers. Asking the questions really helped getting the right product for myself and the soups we made this year. Ask your questions farmers luv to talk. I really do not have to talk much about healthy eating you guys get it, that’s why you come to Farmers Markets. I just got back from a trip back East and was shocked at how hard it was to find places with fresh, local or organic choices. We really do have it good here. Thanks again for your support. New Soups 11/21/11

November 23rd, 2011

Did you know that during Thanksgiving the average person consumes 5000 calories of food. I can’t wait to try that, but then again I think I have been successful in the years past. I am going to go with the vegetable soups this week, soups that are lighter and healthier. After all that eating these healthy choices will help us get right back on track. After all Christmas is right around the corner.  Don’t forget to stock up now. Imagine coming home after a hard day of shopping and being able to pull a great healthy choice(soup)from your freezer. Have a great holiday.
